A Message from Zatarain's

Last Spring Zatarain’s launched its first advertising campaign for our food service division. We certainly wanted our advertising message to increase sales, but we knew it was also important to support and strengthen the culinary culture and the food service industry of our home town. We proudly selected Covenant Café as our partner in this program.

It is an honor to be associated with Covenant Café. As part of Covenant House, the Covenant Café is dedicated to helping at-risk teenagers and young adults by providing real-world, foodservice training and skills. As you know, since Katrina the need for this type of training has never been greater.

Our local restaurants did a wonderful job endorsing this program. Your support is enabling Zatarain’s to donate over five thousand dollars to an important cause.

On September 14th, Zatarain's fired up the jambalaya pot and served lunch at Covenant Café. Through the generous donations given at this fun event, we raised nearly a thousand dollars more for the Café.
