The grant which makes this important program possible is of the Primary Care Access and Stabilization Grant program awarded to the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Louisiana Public Health Institute is administering the grant as the local partner of DHH.

Our mission is to provide affordable, low to no cost counseling, psychiatric treatment, and clinical case management to youth, their dependent children, and their families. Services that we offer are:

• individual counseling
• family therapy
• group counseling
• psychiatric services
• medication management
• psychological testing
• case-management services.

Our goal is to provide mental health services to anyone in the community that cannot access/afford services currently. Covenant House New Orleans has been serving homeless and at-risk youth for over 15 years in New Orleans and we look forward to expanding our Mental Health services to the community at large.
