Keith, 20, came to us two years ago after mental health problems had strained the relationship with his foster parents beyond repair. After our counselors and licensed clinical social workers developed a personalized treatment plan, Keith began to show great progress and moved into Rights of Passage.
He began to see Covenant House as more than just a place to sleep and a hot meal, embracing his new community and taking advantage of employment readiness training. Like many 20 year olds, Keith isn’t sure what he wants to do with his life… but he knows he needs a safe place to further his education where his little brother can visit him. For the time being, Covenant House is that place.
